This series of ten highly ambitious animated shorts chart the major changes in British history from the Mesolithic period to the Domesday Book - set in an unnamed part of Britain against an ever- evolving landscape ranging from wild forests and stone circles to Roman forts and Norman castles. Drama emerges from the challenges faced by the Britons living during these ever-changing times, such as Iron Age tribal conflict, Viking sagas and the Norman invasion.
