On the Town Gabey, Chip and Ozzie are three sailors on a 24-hour shore leave in New York. On their way into town from the docks, Gabey falls in love with a poster of `Miss Turnstiles', winner of a random monthly subway competition, who he thinks must be a glamorous New York personage, and not the working girl she is. The boys' search for her takes them all over the Big Apple making friends along the way.
