Steve Cram and Paula Radcliffe introduce coverage of the World Cross Country Championships in Guiyang, China. It's the third time the event has been held in Asia but it's the continent of Africa whose runners are likely to dominate. Kenya are traditionally strong in cross country, to the extent that reigning world champion Japhet Korir failed to make the team for this year's race. The Kenyan team will instead be headed by national champion Bedan Karoki.
